Post-Tropical Storm Fay Freebie

Finally! Tropical Storm Fay has left Central Florida - she basically parked it right on top of us and just sat here for a few days. Fortunately, we have not experienced any water damage, unlike many in the area. The weather cleared enough yesterday for us to pack up the contents of our house in preparation for our move to North Carolina!! We are so excited - so I wanted to post a new mini-kit while I had a quick moment.

This kit was created for the Scrapping Garden's August Color Challenge and you can find the links here:

Pre-Tropical Storm Fay Freebie

I thought it would be a good idea to post this freebie now as we are smack dab in the middle of Miss Tropical Storm Fay's path. While I don't expect much damage by the time she gets here, it is possible that we may lose power.

Here is my submission for the August Color Challenge over at the Scraphead Forums. The color palette reminded me of the bungalow colors of the Arts & Crafts/Mission style movement of the early 20th century.

New Freebie

**Links Expired**

This was my original submission for the DSO August Color Challenge hosted by Kim B. The more I looked at the papers, the less I liked them - so I made a second pack of papers.

I hope you enjoy them!

Another Color Challenge Freebie

Today's freebie is the kit that I made for the August Color Challenge over at the Digital Scrap Garden. The theme was "Cool Your Heels". As I live in Florida, the papers kind of reminded me of hurricane images from the satellite - very appropriate since we are in the middle of hurricane season.

Let the freebies begin!

Over the next few days, I'm going to be posting the freebie kits that I created for challenges (mostly color challenges) at different forums. Let me know what you think. I'd love to see what you do with the kit!

My first few kits were put out under the name WHB Designs, I have since changed over to Willow Grace Designs - same person, new name.

Here's the first freebie kit, it's from the Digital Arts Cafe color challenge for August 2008 hosted by A-liya. If you haven't checked it out, go for a visit: http://www.digitalarts-cafe.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=45 There are great freebie kits to be had and the starter and bonus kits are really nice (A-liya did a great job!) The kit is broken down into three parts:

My First Post

I can honestly say that I NEVER thought I'd set up a blog, but here I am. I don't know how much I'll actually post, but I'll try to keep up!

A little introduction: I am a SAHM, my daughter just turned 14 months old. My husband and I have been married for almost 9 years. We currently live in Central Florida, but we will be relocating to the great state of North Carolina over Labor Day weekend (early September). We are SO EXCITED!!!!!! Neither one of us likes Florida, which makes us unusual - most people love Florida. We are both looking forward to a change of seasons.

I am new to digital scrapbooking, I just started playing around with it in April. I use PSE 6.0 and am learning new stuff everyday! I set the blog up mostly to post my freebies that I have created for challenges at different forums.

Enjoy!!
